Salted caramel oatmeal


  • 1/2 cup porridge oats
  • 5-6 dates (or less if very large), chopped
  • 3/4 cup hot water
  • 1/2 cup oat milk
  • 1 tbsp almond butter
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp maca powder (you can skip it if you don't have it on hand)
Place oats, chopped dates and hot water in a small pan. Leave for 10 minutes to soak. After that time add the rest of the ingredients, bring to a boil and cook for about 3 minutes, until thick and creamy. Serve warm.
