Homemade Hummus

Cilantro Cumin Hummus:
  • 2 cups of cooked chickpeas or used canned 
  • 1/2 cup good quality tahini
  • Juice of one lemon 
  • 2 cloves of garlic 
  • Handful of cilantro chopped in small pieces 
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1/3 filtered water 
  • Salt 
  • Pepper
Blend all the ingredients or high speed blender until smooth for about 5 min scrapping the sides of the blender. Serve hummus in a shallow plate. Drizzle with some olive oil (optional), top it with olives, tomatoes, herbs and sweet peppers. Enjoy!
