Ingredients
- 2 slices of stale bread
- 1 egg
- 60 ml of milk (to choose)
- 1 tbsp. coffee cane sugar
- 1/4 c. Coffee vanilla powder
- 1/2 c. Coffee Cinnamon
- 2 tbsp. shaved puree of pumpkin puree
- coconut oil
Instructions
- In a deep plate, mix the lightly beaten egg, milk, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon and pumpkin purée until a homogeneous and smooth mixture is obtained.
- Dip your slices of bread until they are well impregnated and the liquid is absorbed.
- Heat a skillet over high heat with coconut oil. Grill your slices of bread in the pan about 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Once the French toast is ready, place on a plate.
- Serve with fruit, syrup or melted chocolate. Enjoy!
Pumpkin french toast (serves 1)
French Toast:
- 2 slices of bread (stale preferably)
- 1 whole egg
- 2 tbsp pumpkin puree
- 1/3 cup of milk (of choice)
- 1 tsp sugar cane
- 1/4 tsp vanilla powder
- 1/2 tsp pumpkin spice
- 1 tsp coconut oil
Directions:
- In a bowl, mix eggs with milk, pumpkin puree, sugar, pumpkin spice and vanilla powder. Dip your bread slices in the mixture until liquid is absorbed.
- Heat with coconut oil. Cook your bread for 4-5 minutes on each side and until golden brown.
- When toast is cooked, place in a plate.
- Top French toast with fruits, nocciolata or maple syrup. Enjoy!
