- 2 shallots or 1/2 a large white onion
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon vegetarian oyster sauce, or hoisin sauce
- 1/2 tablespoon sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1/2 teaspoon rice wine, or apple juice
- 2-3 cups of your favourite veg, steamed
- 2 wholewheat noodle nests, precooked according to packet and drained
In a pan, fry the shallots and garlic in some oil or water. When soft an fragrant, add in the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, sesame oil and wine. Let that cook for about 1 minute the toss in your favourite veggies and stir to coat. Next add in the noodles and toss about. Cook for 2-3 minutes to heat through, garnished with sesame seeds and scallions! Enjoy!
