Makes approx 5 patties
- One tin of kidney beans mashed
- 1 cup of sweet potato boiled and mashed
- 1/2 cup spring onions
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 4 tablespoons quinoa flakes / oat flour
- 1 teaspoon crushed garlic
- Juice of half a lemon
- Salt to taste
Simply combine all your ingredients, roll into patties and cook on a griddle pan for 4-5 minutes on each sides until browned. Serve with a seeded bun or avocado, chili, baby spinach and onion rings.
