Bean & Chickpea Avocado Burger

Makes approx 5 patties 
  • One tin of kidney beans mashed
  • 1 cup of sweet potato boiled and mashed
  • 1/2 cup spring onions 
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper 
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar 
  • 4 tablespoons quinoa flakes / oat flour 
  • 1 teaspoon crushed garlic 
  • Juice of half a lemon 
  • Salt to taste 

Simply combine all your ingredients, roll into patties and cook on a griddle pan for 4-5 minutes on each sides until browned. Serve with a seeded bun or avocado, chili, baby spinach and onion rings.
